The role

  • Add your mark to the implementation, adaptation and continuous improvement of the effective global Compliance Management System, directly reporting to the Chief Compliance Officer
  • Implement and operate an electronic business partner-/ third party due diligence screening system (Exiger)
  • steer and coordinate the Exiger project management team
  • design and implement the integration of the Exiger system into all relevant processes, such as vendor and client onboarding processes and finance processes globally
  • ensure the continuous, full screening coverage of all business partners globally
  • act as an advisor and coordinator for compliance business partner risk management
  • coordinate a small team of compliance due diligence researchers
  • manage the monitoring and steering of risky business partner profiles, e.g. by initiating and coordinating risk mitigating measures
  • organize in-depth due diligence evaluations and approval processes, where required
  • monitor alerts delivered by external due diligence assessment providers, including trade-/sanctions compliance requirements

 Your background, skills and experience

  • Bachelor or Master degree in business administration, law or compliance
  • Very good language proficiency in Business English
  • Ideally, 1-3 years experience in an equivalent role
  • Sound understanding of  the main functionalities and processes of an effective global compliance management system
  • Self-starter, ability to work independently and at the same time as an integral part of global teams with vey good organizational and implementation capabilities
  • Great communication skills, helping to foster highest intrinsic compliance motivation of employees and managers, ensuring that required compliance measures are applied consistently and without exception
  • Comfortable working with people of different cultures and backgrounds
