Your Role

This temporary resource will be the key point of contact for Project Gold in the Procurement Workstream with a key focus on all concerning Direct & Indirect Materials related to Upfield Rest of the World

The candidate will be driving activities of Project Gold for the above-mentioned region, namely:

  • Contracts Management: placing contract in the system and gathering alignment with stakeholders (planning, procurement, R&D, quality, Legal)
  • Engagement with key stakeholders to update status of contract closure
  • Designing “to be” processes: contract life cycle management
  • Interface with IT on Procurement systems
  • Interface with COE on business-COE interfaces
  • Prepare TSA (Transition Service Agreement) schedules
  • Reporting (excel and power point)
  1. Contracts Management
  • Provide insights on supplier base of Direct & Indirect Materials
  • Gathering contracts for separation and renewal (Direct & Indirect Materials)
  • Lead contracts separation for region for all Direct & Indirect Materials
  • Identify and flag any risks of smooth contracts separation to core project team

       2. Designing the “to-be” processes

  • Maintain a working knowledge of the processes currently in place in order to support scenario planning for the region
  • Align with the core project team and engage in discussions on how the generic to-be processes will be structured
  • Define Standard Operation Procedures and ways of working for to-be process design for NA keeping in mind interdependencies with other workstreams
  • Give visibility of any complexities that would require some tailoring of generic processes to be specific to region

       3. Interface with IT on Procurement systems

  • Work closely with the core project team and the IT workstream on Procurement systems
  • Own the communication line with the IT workstream for regular feedback to core project team
  • Give visibility of any complexities that would require some tailoring of IT systems specific to region
  • Identify and flag any risks to smooth transitioning and separation of IT systems to new buyer

4. Interface with Centre of Excellence

  • Work closely with the COE (Centre of Excellence) teams on business COE interfaces and processes
  • Assist with the integration of existing services in the to-be organization in line with discussions for the region
  • Identify and flag risks and give inputs to mitigation plans

       5. Prepare TSA Schedules

  • Define TSA and contract negotiations schedules for region
  • Define and align with core project team on scope, cost, timings and SLAs (Service Level Agreement) of Procurement TSAs for the region

        6. Reporting

  • Prepare progress reports for the procurement separation workstream lead
  • Give weekly feedback to core project team on all activities in terms of progress and challenges
  • Gather Data and present it to internal and external stakeholders
