About the role

Job purpose:

Reporting into the National Account Controller and supporting on the execution of the customer strategy and customer business plans in the Irish market. Is jointly responsible for the achievement of turn over and the P&L of his/her customers as well as supporting the team with all administrative tasks. Will also be responsible for coordination of and implementation of all shopper marketing activities in the channel

Main Responsibilities:

 Develops optimal customer plan for agreed customer(s) and managing all customer investment within agreed parameters

  • Delivers the agreed plan, following up to achieve all counterparts set in the agreement
  • Plays active ambassador role for the Upfield business and portfolio
  • Customer information requirements, including New Vendor packs and New Line forms
  • Creation and tracking of rebate accruals
  • Validating invoices for payment
  • Setting up pricing and resolving price claims
  • Administration of all Joint Business Plans
  • Management of the shopper marketing budget in Ireland
  • Working in partnership with internal stakeholders, external agencies and customers to deliver excellent shopper marketing programme

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Track record of Customer Relationship Management, either internally or externally
  • Prior commercial experience and exposure to P&
  • Applicants must possess good attention to detail, with the ability to prioritise and manage their workload effectively
  • They should be IT literate and have strong Excel skills with the ability to produce and use VLOOKUP/Pivot Table
  • Proven history of working within a team environment
  • FMCG experience preferred but not essential
