This role will play a key role in building and strengthening engagement with our external stakeholders to bring the

Global Mission to life in the EE Region.

Reporting into the Head of Marketing EE, the region Market Insights Manager is

responsible for leading and executing the Category Perception program and strategy for our key markets. You will use

the levers of public relations to drive the agenda and reputation for our iconic brands, delivering against our noble

purpose and business strategy at a local level.

About Your Role:

The Market Insights Manager will drive the internal and external conversations with regards to opportunities for changing consumer perception, turn category to growth. These conversations will be fueled by overseeing the creation and input of data from numerous sources, turning it into actionable insights, positively impacts category growth. He or She will lead the Consumer perception change program. Outputs include category reviews. The role will work across all Brands: Rama, Flora and local jewels.

The Market Insights Manager will work closely with the Marketing Brand and Commercial manager, as well as other cross-functional team members. This position will focus on consumer perception with research to support the goal of increasing the team’s knowledge and profitability of the business to drive sustainable growth. 

The role will require that the candidate develop research plans, utilize both agile and best-in-class research methodologies, and analyze and translate data from a variety of sources into insights to help build disruptive category perception change plans as well as marketing plans.  Experience required related to various research methods, together with passion for deep, intuitive understanding of our consumer.

You have a natural curiosity to find out why something happened, and the ability to convert the “why” into story that results in actions that grow the category.

Key Accountabilities

  • Manage details of research projects, including learning plans that align business questions to research objectives, designing research methodology, developing questionnaires and discussion guides, coordinating research stimuli, analyzing research and reporting on findings.
  • Develop methodologies and execute consumer insights projects with a strong understanding of an array of techniques across proposition development – from insights and product ideation methods to pricing, communications and in-market evaluation. This will require experience in both innovative techniques that will lead to deeper and more unique insights on proposition development, as well as best-in-class methodologies in measurement and proposition sizing.
  • Activities include, but are not limited to, ideation sessions, concept testing, product optimization studies, product positioning studies, communications exploratory, copy testing, price elasticity, pack tests, consumer segmentation, brand health & equity, brand stretch studies and various qualitative techniques, including ethnography.
  • Conduct thorough and careful analysis of data, gather critical information, and effectively prioritize tasks and projects to deliver quality solutions.
  • Communicate insights from research through reports and presentations to ensure clear understanding of information.
  • Ensure the integrity and correct interpretation of all CMI information.
  • Mine internal/external and primary/secondary sources of data and trends to create insights and to work collaboratively with the broader Marketing and other cross functional teams to turn those insights into business building plans.

Key Requirements:

Ideally you have 3-5+ years of experience in Consumer & Market Insights field and Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Marketing. You are subject matter expert in various research met methodologies and when to deploy them in CPG environment. Skilled at synthesizing existing data and new data into actionable findings and holistic strategic business recommendations and perspectives and create a compelling story from data. Always ready to take a strong stand for the voice of the consumer—even when it may be unpopular with the team. Excellent communication and networking skills combined with proactive and solution-oriented approach gives you a comfort working in fast-pieced environment. On top of that you are an experienced leader/ strategic thinker with demonstrated success in uncovering unique consumer/marketplace insights and turning them into winning ideas in market
