About the Role! 

 

We are looking for a Payroll Administrator to support our Human Resources Department with a variety of day-to-day operational duties. You will act as the first point of contact for payroll and benefits queries from employees, ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution. Our ideal candidate is experienced in HR Operations, payroll and benefits, is organized and can juggle various administrative tasks in a timely manner. This role is a great opportunity for you to learn and evolve. You will receive mentorship, guidance and support and you will be expected to contribute to the company's top priorities.

 

Main Responsibilities: 

 

  • Support the payroll team creating a seamless payroll procedure. (Full cycle payroll process)
  • Support hiring/termination process and prepares necessary forms
  • Enter data into payroll and administrative databases and software programs
  • Compensation and Benefit savvy, creating the best employee reward experience, benefit wise.
  • Ensure calculations and filings are in full compliance with laws and payroll/HR standards
  • Administer employee benefits (private medical insurance plan, vouchers, mobile phones)
  • Safeguard compliance with the Local Employment Law (on Payroll) and internal policies

 

Minimum requirements:

  • University degree in Business-related field or equivalent (Accounting, Business Administration, Finance)
  • A post-graduate qualification (i.e., MSc in HR, MBA) will be considered an asset.
  • Proven Experience min. two (2) years in supporting the payroll of companies with more than 250 employees
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (both in Greek and English language).
  • Highly Proficient in Microsoft Suite and payroll systems (Pylon)
  • High-level knowledge of labour and social security law
  • Knowledge and experience to the information system of the Hellenic Ministry of labor (ERGANI)
