When it comes to Sales controlling we don’t want you to ask ‘Can I do this?” we need you to say: “This is what we need to do and this is how I will do it” and of course “Why do we need this?”
As our Sales Controller you will report to the Head of Controlling and will work very close with our Sales Team in our Hamburg office.
You will support and guide the Sales team with forecasting on their clients and brands and enable them to make the right commercial decisions. What we can tell you is that working for us means that right now you have a blank canvas. You are also the link between Supply Chain and Sales to ensure we can provide any needed report at any given time.
If you think we can improve our sales reporting or try it in a different way, make it happen. You will also work with your counterparts in Europe to share best practices and see that we can provide excellent forecasting and reporting to our global HQ.
Your mentality is that of questioning the Status quo and you are take an advisory role to the sales team “If you drop this promotion now, it will have this effect in the next month for you” You are involved you and are not afraid to speak out – based on data and facts.
You are experienced in your field so we don’t need to tell you what experience is expected, but of course since you will be working with our team in German you need to speak German and English ,when dealing with your European colleagues.
