About the Role:

There are 1300+ ship to party customers to deliver goods on Monday and Tuesday in every week. Need to ensure Monday all delivery completion (1300+) by Wednesday evening to get the Thursday regular orders. And Thursday orders (1300+) need to be completed by Saturday to avoid truck holding charges and   obtain the continues weekly orders. All orders need to be delivered within 48hrs.

Should ensure replenishment of FGs from 3P manufacture to the main DC to ensure 100% order fulfillments and to maintain the FMFO in main DC to maintain the zero-business waste target. Need to coordinate with DC colleagues (3P) and ensure raising of return sales orders on time, planning of trucks, maintaining PODs and resolve SAP related issues Etc.

Should create new ship to party /bill to party customers in the system, new code mapping of customer level etc. All the value-added activities (Promotions) need to be done with the coordination of Marketing team.    

During the transportation, need to monitor the freezer trucks movement to optimize the cost of mileage and unloading hours and should maintain the right temperatures in the reefer truck to ensure avoid cold chain abuse

Should check accuracy of all transport bills twice a month and storage bill weekly before submitting for the  line manager  approval.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and manage inventories at distribution center

  • Coordinating relevant parties on the stock levels and blocked stocks level to avoid dispatch operation’s delays
  • Coordinate Inter- Shuttle transportation between Factory and warehouse to avoid additional Factory cool room chargers and available products at the required time
  • Conduct QA clearance for Trade returns by checking the reasons for the returning and checking the physical conditions of the products
  • Monitoring available stocks at the warehouse for checking below QA standards,
  • Storage conditions                                           
  • Stacking heights                                           
  • Maintaining of first in first out                                           
  • Product identification and traceability
  • Coordinating to resolve all the SAP system issues (O2C and MM functions) which are raised related to warehouse operations.

Monitoring and Managing Transport operations

  • Handling end to end customer service process in SAP S4/HANA system (from creating sales orders to creating customer invoices)
  • Planning shipments to increase trucks utilization and ensure on time delivery to customers
  • Coordinating ongoing fleet operations to maximize customer service level and minimize transport cost
  • Monitoring temperature deviations of ongoing trucks via E Gravity system and tacking corrective actions to keep temperature under the required level
  • Coordinate with CD team regarding orders delivering and invoicing orders on timely manner
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for all the Distribution operation
  • Conducting Fleet audit to check vehicle conditions and improve product safety and vehicle standards
  • Drive cost saving initiatives

Invoices checking related to all the logistics operations

Invoice related to Transport

  • Checking Shipments wise time sheets to calculate transport cost related to route by considering shipment data
  • Checking the agreed route wise transport rates in the invoices

Invoice related to the warehouse

  • Checking invoices by considering agreed rates and FG/RM stocks related to all the warehouse operations
  • Submitting the invoices and follow up with finance team to settle supplier’s payment on time.
  • Arranging early settlements and coordinate with finance team to settle early payments for the payment’s delays.
  • Maintaining records of all the logistics related payments

Ship to Code creation and changing the Ship to data in the SAP system

  • Filling attribute data in Service now portal as per the information given by Sales team
  • Follow up with respective approvers for getting system approval to the CBU code
  • Communicating with CG team for all the clarifications related with the code creation

System Improvements

  • Assist to the head of Supply Chain for implementing new transport strategy
  • Assist to the head of Supply Chain and Supply Chan Operations manager for new RM/PM warehouse consolidation process
  • Assist to the new system implementation (S4/ HANA) by testing end to end scenarios related with O2C.    

Skills/ Experience/ Qualifications:

Minimum 02 years’ experience on the relevant field

  • Handling end to end customer service process in SAP S4/HANA system (from creating sales orders to creating customer invoices)
  • Planning shipments to increase trucks utilization and ensure on time delivery to customers
  • Coordinating ongoing fleet operations to maximize customer service level and minimize transport cost
  • Coordinating relevant parties regarding stock levels and blocked stocks level to avoid dispatch operation’s delays
  • Checking suppliers’ invoices and follow up with finance team to settle supplier’s payment on time
  • Assist to the head of Supply Chain for implementing new transport strategy
  • Assist to the head of Supply Chain and Supply Chan Operations manager for new RM/PM warehouse consolidation process
  • Worked with finance team to develop a logistics cost forecast
  • Monitoring Stock availability in the system and coordinate with relevant parties regarding stock levels.
  • Transferring goods from block locations to sellable locations in the WM system based on the QA approvals and checking the physical inventory with QA team.
