Logistics Finance Controller
In this Logistics Finance controller role, you will have the opportunity to broader your responsibilities and potentially have a more international scope of operations.
As Logistics Finance controller, you will have an International scope of operations where you will be working with 23 different distribution centers in Europe and you will work with high volume products. You will make an impact on both controlling & Reporting and saving costs related to all Logistics in Europe.
You will be in a start-up environment where a lot of processes need to be given more structure. This will give you freedom and flexibility to make this job your own and build on your own career within Upfield.
You will join the European Logistics team and you will report directly to the Head of Supply Chain Finance. You will be responsible for controlling all logistics costs which include Inbound, Warehousing, Primary and Secondary transport and Pallets & Customs spend. You are responsible for the Accounting & Control and the Budgeting & Forecasting of all Operational Expenses. As business partner, you will work together with the 23 distribution centers in Europe to control all costs and to reduce business waste. Next to reporting to the Head of Supply Chain Finance, you will directly work with the Head of Supply Chain and the Logistics Director to optimize operations.
Next to all operational control activities, you are actively improving the logistics control Finance operations based on the results seen in the Logistics Dashboard, where all KPI’s and processes are visualized. Also, you will be working closely with Supply Chain and Procurement to develop the processes and optimize operations.
As you are the link between different departments, you will be first point of contact for all Logistics Finance Control and costs related questions. For Upfield, this is a very important position and therefore we are looking for someone with inhouse Logistics Finance Controlling experience. For example within a FMCG / Food or production company. Also, you must have extensive experience with both Excel and SAP. You will be responsible for 23 distribution centers in Europe and therefore this role could be an opportunity for you to broader your responsibilities or work on a more international scope.
The work location for this position is (when working from the office again) Amsterdam, therefor living in Amsterdam/the Netherlands is essential.
