About the Role!

The role is dedicated to supporting the external financial reporting of the Upfield Group in the year end process, including the following activities:

Main Responsibilities

  • Assisting with year-end including preparation of statutory consolidated Group accounts
  • Acting as a key point of contact for the external auditors, dealing with any queries
  • Assist with the reconciliation of P&L between management and financial reported results
  • Assist with the reconciliation & review of working capital, intercompany and treasury related items
  • Work with EY to take on their current consolidation activities
  • Interpreting data and providing concise explanations on trends and variances
  • Technical support function for reporting queries from operating companies and other head-office functions 
  • Ad hoc projects to support the Group Reporting team

About you!

Experience

  • Professional accounting qualification ACA, ACCA
  • Strong Excel and data manipulation skills
  • Working knowledge of Group consolidations
  • SAP experience preferred

Personal qualities

  • Strong analytical skills and great attention to detail
  • Communicates in a clear and practical manner, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to work to a tight deadline
  • Flexibility to deal with changing environment
  • Highly organised
