Accounts Receivable Lead – 30-38h per week

Are you looking for a new position where you can develop and control the Order to Cash process and manage a team of professionals? The Accounts Receivable process within Upfield needs more development and structuring to improve the daily operations. You will have a focus on the day-to-day operations of the entire team and the development of both the process and the individual professionals.
This position could be filled with an availability of four to five days a week. Also, you will receive all flexibility to schedule your workweek. Delivering the right output and taking ownership is most important in this role. You’ll have to deliver on the commitments you make. About the role
You will be working in the German Finance Team, reporting to the Head of Accounting. You and the 2 direct colleagues will be working closely together and back up each other in case of temporary increases of workload or holidays. You will also work very closely with the Financial Shared Service Center, with 8-10 colleagues working there.
As Lead of the FSSC Team, you supervise the activities of the colleagues in their day-to-day operations (invoicing, booking of incoming payments and deductions). The team is experienced, however you will support them with more guidance and increase the efficiency. You will help on resolving customer related topics (from a finance perspective) and you manage Customer-and Accrual Accounts.
You will support Dunning, Credit Limit Management and Cash-Forecasting related to the Accounts Receivables. Together with your colleagues, you support further areas in Accounting like Price-and Rebate-set-up, Creditor Accounting and Treasury.
To be successful in this role, we are looking for a candidate with similar working experience, preferably with German Retail Customers (not necessary in Food/FMCG). Which means you have for example experience with leading/supervising and developing an (FSSC/Outsourced) Accounts Receivable team. Also, speaking fluently German and English is a must. To quickly onboard and be of added value, working experience with SAP is a big pre.
