Key Account Supply Chain – Senior Customer Collaboration Specialist

Purpose of the job: Improvement of customer satisfaction for selected key customers, set up relations with the Supply Counterparts of our customers. Focus op optimization of the physical flow, to lower cost, increase shelf availability and increase net Sales value. Negotiate logistic contracts and penalties with the customer.

Key accountabilities:

  • Close cooperation with customer development team and other supply chain functions (planning, logistics, master-data)
  • Work on specific customer requests/projects and active optimisation of Order to Cash and logistics processes
  • Reporting and commenting on internal and external customer KPIs with a focus on improvement of customer satisfaction.
  • Identifying and executing of improvement projects with customers, Responsibility for optimisation of customer related supply chain processes e.g. masterdata, supply routes, order management/profiles ( optimization and cost reduction)
  • Negotiation of penalties and logistic contracts with customers.
  • Build a strong relationship via monthly KPI meetings with Top customers

Daily activities:

  • Reviewing promo FCST accuracy. Link back learnings into sales and demand planning
  • Customer Ordering /promo loading pattern optimisation such as nominated delivery days, combined ordering, etc
  • Stock availability – contact customers in case of structural issues and codevelop with planning/ sales and customer an improvement plan
  • OTIF monitoring and improvement with logistics and customer
  • Complains Returns/Refusals -  (part of KPI decs)- monitor level and corrective actions/ root casue
  • Building relationship with Supply Chain Customers
  • Discus monthly/Quarterly KPI deck (Upfield)
  • Treat penalties : identify root causes and solve them with a clear aim to reduce penalties and increase customer satisfaction.

Professional skills & key competencies:

  • Mandatory : Supply chain/sales experience for min 3 years, preferred in FMCG. Combination of both is a plus.
  • Results driven and high sense of Accountability: you need to take initiative to identify risks/start projects/go to the customer F2F
  • Clear and structured communication. Not afraid to influence and communicate at all levels (intern and extern)
  • Customer & service mindset, taking ownership to resolve customer issues
  • Ability to build relationship, be a strong team player both within Upfield and the customer
  • High analytical skills, numeracy and logical reasoning, attention to detail
  • Planning and organization skills
  • Growth mentality, understand financial impact of decisions
  • flexibility

Experience required:

  • Mandatory : Supply chain/sales experience for min 3 years, preferred in FMCG. Combination of both is a plus.
  • Mandatory languages :  FR +ENG
  • SAP knowledge
  • Good MS Office knowledge ( pivots and basic formulas do not have secrets for you)
  • Knowledge and experience on E2E supply chain
  • Working in customer collaboration roles, including managing of joint projects
