Taking lead for Payroll in the Central & Eastern Europe region, you will ensure operational excellence and strive for best-in-class Payroll activities delivery. Working closely with a global team, local HR, and external service provider you will successfully set up Payroll in all countries in the region.

Acting as a key operational and transactional Payroll Lead you will be the interface between HR, Line Managers, Finance, and Employees responding to, and resolving associated queries as requested by local HR or employees and you will ensure that all Legal, business, and payroll tax requirements are met.

On the regional level, you will ensure effective and timely payroll delivery in Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, and Slovakia by managing our payroll vendor service delivery, coordinating information and data flow, and acting as a final sign-off in all countries for each cycle.

You will be directly responsible for data gathering, validation, and notification including mass data entry of exceptional payments /variable pay/overtime and mass upload of templates for major data changes. You will monitor, track and implement Local Pay Agreements and you will be updating pay rate tables post pay deals.

On top of that supporting the local HR team, and bringing your payroll expertise to the table you will be performing pay review prep & groundwork and engage in ongoing HR projects.

What’s your background?

You have several years of experience running complex payroll in multiple countries, when you gained a demonstrated expertise in payroll transactional process and a deep knowledge of local payroll, legal and tax requirements.

If until now you have gained expertise only with the Polish payroll and social insurance regulations, we imagine you’re excited by an opportunity to learn and deep dive into other countries’ specifics.

Effective organization is in your blood, setting priorities is important but as you love your lists and checks you never leave any task incomplete. You have a good eye for the details and you’re able to identify the smallest variations and discrepancies.

You gained your experience in an international environment and thanks to your great stakeholder management and interpersonal skills you feel comfortable in a matrix structure and cross-functional networks.

Fluent Polish and English are musts.
