About your role:
You will be responsible for primary (finished goods) and inbound (palletized pack materials) logistics operations and cost across on assigned EU markets and you will ensure service to factories, warehouses, and 3PM.
On the operational part, you will perform daily transport order processing, providing service to internal customers as factories, warehouses and contact business partners as suppliers and carriers – monitoring and following up with relevant stakeholders when required.
You will support factories and country customer service with special/express shipments and late notice request changes. Bringing your expertise to the life you will spot market shipments carrier scouting and cost negotiations as well as Truckfill and km improvement through orders combination.
On the Cost and Service improvement part, you will monitor the performance (Cost, Truck fill rate, and Demurrages) and take part in cost and service improvement projects (intermodal, ambient, direct delivery, GPS implementation, system improvement, etc.). You will validate carries claims and support the evaluation and new 3PLs.
What’s your background?
You have initial experience ideally from Logistics or fresh Graduate of Logistics / Transport or Supply Chain related field. On the tech side, you’re a proficient Excel user (Visual Basic for Applications in Excel and Power BI will be a strong asset).
As you will be working with various European markets you have to be proficient in English.
You have strong analytical skills and bias for action which means you are capable of extracting action plans from data insights.
Thanks to your great stakeholder management and interpersonal skills you feel comfortable in a matrix structure and cross-functional networks.
