Do you want to take your first commercial steps within the Food & Retail industry? In this broad role you drive the promotions agenda as you work very closely with our Dutch retail team.
As our new Promo Coordinator you report to our Business Insights Manager. You are responsible to ensure all promotions are correctly entered into our systems and keep an close eye if the promo timelines are changing. If one retailer changes their timeline it can have a knock-on effect for all others. Which means you have to inform our Sales teams and make it work.
Also you monitor and improve profitability finding the right balance for both Upfield and our retailers partners.
You liaise with internal (Category Management, Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain) and external Partners (retailers) and really is for a self-starter who likes to be in control, juggle between various stakeholders and support teams to realize their ambitious sales targets.
You will learn a lot and it will steam you for your next steps either into Account Management or Category Management.
What’s your background?
This role requires you to keep a cool head in stressful situations, you love to solve problems and you are not afraid to speak up but you do it in the right way so people keep listening to you and know you have their interests at heart. You have a commercial mindset and are target driven. If you have already worked in a FMCG environment, even better. As this covers the local Dutch market it is essential you speak Dutch.
