Data and Information Management is one of the key enablers for business decisions. Upfield is currently going through a period of rapid separation and transformation and seeking a talented individual to help in the reporting and data maintenance of direct and indirect sales through this period of change. This role will report into the Global Business Partner of Upro, and designed to have 2 overarching goals;

  1. Delivery of business-critical reports from various systems that are designed to provide value-added insights to the leadership team.
  2. Support in continued management and maintenance of the key systems & platforms within the markets.

About the role
This is a unique profile: you like to roll-up your sleeves to get the operational activities done, but at the same time you need to have strong technical skills combined with a solid business understanding.

The purpose of the role is go give support, analytics and insights to drive business performance on growth & profit, and inform pricing and investment and global innovation decisions.

Upfield Professional is a lean organization with a small global team. You will prepare key reports and insights which are widely used within the Global and Local teams, think off sales reports, profitability trackers, product category reports and gross margin evolution. You will also maintain the global Upro customer and product profitability database.

You will liaise with local markets on understanding country performance, misses versus forecasts and market dynamics. On a global scale, you work on the budgets, forecasting and variance analysis of the monthly sales and marketing spend.

In terms of data management, you support the deployment & integration of customer sales funnels into sales force and the maintenance of master data within and across platforms (SAP, salesforce, secondary sales systems). You support with the reporting capability that is being delivered alongside these platforms, helping to ensure the end users are supported with their reporting needs, requirements and ad hoc support.

About you
We are looking for a colleague with a Degree in Business or Information management and preferably a finance component. You will match this role if you have around 2 years of relevant working experience within Commercial Finance or FP&A. It would help if you have any experience in Consumer goods, but this is not a must. What we would require (and you must like it..) is working experience with Excel, Pivots and Power Point presentations, at least you are used to work with large sets of data and translate this into readable insights.

We work with SAP (S4 Hana), BPC, Power BI and CRM Sales Force as well, but we can show you how to use these systems. Working with hard deadlines is something you do like and don’t get scared off, and prioritizing is your super skill in order to be successful in this role.
