HR Business Partner Global R&D (part time 3 days)

Location: Wageningen, the Netherlands

You will join our global R&D team in our new facility in Wageningen and lead the HR agenda, shaping and owning the People Strategy to deliver plans across Talent, Organization, Skills, Capabilities, Performance, Labor Strategy, Culture, and Administration.

You’ll be part of the wider local and global HR community, reporting directly to Fran Newman, People & Organization Director Marketing, R&D and ESG, Fran is based in the UK so most of your catch ups will be virtually.

Your first focus will be supporting the move from Rotterdam to Wageningen which will officially happen in Q2 2022. You will take the lead in the execution of the communications plan, and make sure everybody settles into our fantastic new R&D facility. You will be the only HR contact on site, so you will have a tremendous impact on the culture you will build together with the Leadership team.

In the long term you will operationally support Line Managers and Employees as their HR Business partner. Strategically you will deliver short-medium term talent plans, set up development and career paths, succession planning, talent reviews, retention development plans and build lasting relationships with the local university. A perfect mix between operations and strategy!

What’s your background?

You have several years of experience as a HR Generalist in the Netherlands, you are familiar with the local labor law and you have led 1 or 2 change management projects.

You gained your experience in a fast-paced environment and thanks to your great stakeholder management and interpersonal skills you feel comfortable juggling multiple topics in a matrix structure and cross-functional networks.

Effective organization is in your blood, you’re hands-on and solution oriented. You have a strong ownership mindset and proactively taking initiative your focus is always on supporting people.
