About the role
We are looking for a Key Account manager with a focus on semi-industrial customers, Bakery, Central production units and the Care channel in the Netherlands. Upfield Professionals is working on unlocking Plant Power within the Dutch Foodservice market (B2B).
Thanks to your experience and your powerful network within this landscape you will be able to build sustainable relationships, deliver value creating projects and by doing this substantial growth. Our ambition is to double the Foodservice business in the next few years. Together with the newly formed Foodservice Team, led by the Upfield Professional Director you will leverage the full capability of the local organization to accelerate our business. Growth in Foodservice has top priority at Upfield. Your strong personality and entrepreneurial spirit will help you to exploit opportunities to achieve growth in both short and long term.
In this role, you will focus on longer term sales projects within the Dutch Foodservice market and Care Channels. You will establish and secure a great relationship between Upfield and the customers. Together with the Channel development manager, you create customer plans to deeply understand the customer trends in the foodservice and to be able to adapt to trends and needs from our customers. You create menu options and plant-based food concepts together with our professional chefs, Channel development, Supply Chain and finance teams. Important in this process is to continuously evaluate and follow up on the business with customers and internally to secure profitable sales with a triple win (end-user, customer & Upfield).

You have proven track record on local Foodservice market or Private Label Projects. Also, you have experience managing multiple projects at the same time on both operational and more strategical level.
Achieving goals gives you a rush, you have a strategic approach, and being analytical you know how to assess risk and be financially savvy. You feel comfortable in a stand-alone role being accountable for your own results but being a part of the team gives you as much joy.
In this role, it is a must to be living in the Netherlands and to be a fluent Dutch speaker.
