As the sales controller, you step into a new role wihtin Upfield and you will be partnering with the Retail Sales Team. You will be the main point of contact and you'll give full support to their commercial & finance requests. You will report to Finance manager France and will be based Rueil-Malmaison in France. Upfield's future way of work will be hybrid and we ecourage you to work together with your colleagues in the office 50% of the time.
You will be responsible for rebate control and monitoring, month end closing, sales forecasting, customers’ performance management and embedding Net Revenue management fundamentals in the business to maximize growth & profit opportunities. The role looks to drive change across the function to provide more value add and strategy support to the Finance manager and the business. You will focus on both operation accounting as prepare group reportng and sales & margin reporting, as well as more strategical managing the forecasting cycle and being the finance represenatative in the S&OP business monthly cycle.
Your detailed analysis and reporting is supporting the business to drive performance (growth & profit) and inform on pricing, investment and innovation decisions. Next to the daily business, you will work on building financial models to gain further insight to business activities and future opportunities.
Within the France commercial team, you guard the one source of finance data to maintain finance credibility and you are the go-to person for all commercial finance requests.
In this role, you drive business performance, you work proactively with key stakeholders and you have regular exposure to the Management Team on latest Sales results / estimations. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is comfortable in business partnering on management level with different (senior) stakeholders. You have a very strong work ethic, resilience in the face of pressure and you have attention to detail. We work with SAP S4 and BPC so having experience with this is a big plus.
You have relevant experience within a (commercial) finance business partnering role and FMCG experience is a pre. You will match to Upfield and this role if you have the ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment.
