Trade Marketing / E-Commerce Lead

You develop and execute channel, customer and category trade marketing activity plans in the marketplace to deliver the targets for the year. In this role you will report to the General Manager and you are part of an experienced, enthusiastic team who has made a significant impact in the past year.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Drive Operational Plan and Annual Plan in line with category priorities and strategies
  • Prepare the Annual Commercial plan by channels (Modern Trade and Traditional trade) and main customers with the coordination with Sales Team
  • Lead the Commercial meetings and communication with the Sales Team on regular basis, Monthly, Quarterly
  • Drive the digital e-commerce agenda

Key Accountabilities:

  • In collaboration with line manager, plan, design and execute customer marketing strategy together with the Sales Team, in terms promotion (calendar and mechanics), assortment (formats and variants), pricing, in-store visibility and activation
  • Build strong distribution plans for innovation and renovation, being obsessed with speed-to-market and best-in-class communication to customers through compelling trade stories and engaging launch kits
  • Regular tracking of both internal (sell-in) and external (sell-out) sales data to take fact-based decisions
  • Be the contact point between marketing and sales and support Key Accounts on decision-making
  • Take full ownership of POS activities in terms of implementation and post-launch tracking (promotions, activations, changes in assortment, etc.)
  • Actively participate in S&OP process to drive forecast accuracy in key customers. Coordinate with sales team to get their commitment and engagement
  • Help to coordinate Field Force (external) according to business strategy and priorities. Focus on Perfect Store management and critical success factors to win in-store
  • Actively participate in Marketing-Trade meetings to share key actions and learnings to take corrective measures (if needed) together with the Brand Managers


Professional Skills & Competencies:

  • At least 5 years’ relevant Marketing or Trade/Customer Marketing experience in FMCG companies
  • Results-oriented, entrepreneurial mindset (make things happen!)
  • Proven experience in project management
  • Excellent analytical skills (fact-based decision making, experience with sell-out/ shopper data like Nielsen, Kantar, etc.)
