Your role

To assist and execute marketing plans and activities and deliver monthly reporting for Upfield ANZ brands to deliver against the set brand metrics and sales objectives. 

Key responsibilities/accountabilities

Brand management:

  • Support brand team in developing NPD pipeline through thorough consumer, commercial and category insights.
  • Support NPD process with compliance on packaging, claims, print processes and POS development. Track success of NPD with post launch reporting.
  • Support and assist Head of Marketing and Senior Brand Manager on developing marketing strategy and tactics.
  • Coordinate briefs and manage relationships with internal stakeholders as well as external agencies i.e. Shopper marketing, trade show agencies, etc.
  • Assist in executing activity across all owned and paid digital channels, including monthly reporting
  • Responsible for overseeing the development of all tactical, sales support and route trade communications for Upfield brands, from briefing to final execution. Development and coordination of point of sale and retailer-specific activity programs.
  • Manage consumer and trade events across brands (especially Foodservice)
  • Assist in collecting and collating content for internal and external presentations, Customer Presentations, Management Meetings etc.
  • Create new vendors, raise and GR Purchase Orders and ensure A&P expenditure is in line with phasing and targets.
  • Brand monitoring, reporting and optimization: closely monitor competitive activity and category movements for Upfield brands with clear, monthly reporting and recommendations on how to improve.

 

Process and reporting:

  • Complete adherence and continuous improvement to NPD processes.
  • Own execution of tactical and BTL activity.
  • Monthly reporting and analysis of spend, owned and paid media, shopper marketing.
  • The ability to work independently and manage own workload and prioritisation with guidance from Senior Brand Manager.
  • Conduct monthly audit of competitor activity (in-store, comms, promos, NPD etc.)
  • Undertaking general administrative tasks within the marketing team.
