Job Purpose! 

We are currently looking for an Area Supervisor to join our Retail Sales team in Crete, who will report to the District Sales Manager.

As an Area Sales Supervisor at Upfield you will have an exciting opportunity to develop your own customer plans, build strong relationships with team & customers and execute our strategy in order to grow our business.

You will be accountable for developing and delivering a win-win customer strategy and business plan, with the best execution to meet the business objectives.

You will aim to grow the business of the customer through our products in order to achieve our growth & profit business targets, and to grow our business ahead of the market.

About the role!

You will be developing and maintaining of strong and trustworthy relationships with clients.

You will be team supervision and embedding Upfield insurgent mindset to the team and ensure right implementation of the strategy.

You will be monitoring the performance of the sales team and motivating members to meet or exceed sales targets.

You will constantly build your teams so you will be recruiting, managing training, and providing overall guidance to the sales team.

You will be planning sales activities, market mapping and continuous clients visiting.

What is more, you will be securing profitable sales growth in a triple win mindset (consumer, customer and Upfield).

To gain your goals you will be continuously follow up, evaluate and optimize the business with the team & customers.

You will be securing great launches and distribution buildup of new products and you internal and external administration and communication.

You will be demonstrating and applying our category and consumer understanding at our key customers.

On your daily basis you will be regularly reviewing sales data and creating reports for sales managers.

You will developing  and sustaining long-term relationships with customers.

What is important, you will be keeping up to date with products and competitors and providing customer understanding to the entire business.


About you!

We will be happy to meet you if you have a  proven track record of 3 years as supervisor /area manager, people management, category management or distributor management will be valued.

You have good understanding of business financials (P&L, value chain) and analytical skills.

You have a good command of English language.

You have a good knowledge of MS-Office.

Mobility to travel frequently - is necessary!

What is important for is to cooperate with an ambitious, customer focused attitude combined with strong negotiating skills person.

Outstanding negotiation and consultative sales skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills and great communication and presentation skills are needed.

You need to have hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset.

Moreover it is very important to be able to work both independently and as a team member.
