Key Account Manager Foodservice

About the Position
As a Key Account Manager/Sales and Business development manager in foodservice, you will be responsible for the overall sales development and management of initiative implementation for the Upfield Professional business. Your scope is both on a strategic level within Finland, as well as on operational level in the market.
You ensure growth by;
- Channel/Operator selection & prioritization
- Customer/Operator acquisition and demand creation activities
- Implementation of growth strategies and initiatives & associated sales activities
It’s your focus to create profitable growth and enhance partnerships with both current partners as well as unlock new potential partners in new channels.
You will be responsible for unlocking plant-power within the finish foodservice industry. In the coming months, exiting launches and projects are lined up which will need full attention and dedication to succeed.
In this role you will also be responsible for system updates, pricing, contract negotiations and management. In your local team you have one reporting sales account manager, but will work closely with the full Nordic Professional team in sales and marketing.
You will report into the Head of Sales for Upfield Professionals in the Nordics&Baltics and you are part of the North Europe cluster, including UK & Ireland.
What does it take to be successful in this role?

You have preferably a proven track record on local Foodservice/FMCG market and understanding of foodservice landscape. Preferably, you have a network in the Foodservice industry in Finland.
Achieving goals gives you a rush, you have a strategic approach, and being analytical, you know how to assess risk and be financially savvy. You feel comfortable in a stand-alone role being accountable for your own results but being a part of the team gives you as much joy.
