Operational Sustainability & Resilience PMO

Are you passionate about Operational Sustainability & Resilience? Would you like to join us and take a front seat in our Operations team based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands? As our Operational Sustainability & Resilience PMO, you will work on strategic questions and will help us reach our Sustainability goals.

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands


About the position

You will work on strategic and operational sustainability & resilience priorities and will support with the required analysis & stakeholder engagement to drive progress.

You will support the plan / drive initiatives to reach carbon emission targets as per Upfield’s public ESG commitments.

You will drive key resilience priorities such as business continuity and energy resilience

You will perform scenario analysis to review targets & inform investment decisions.

You will be the control tower of carbon related initiatives & resilience priorities: track progress, flag bottlenecks, drive recommendations & decisions.

You will support broader ESG reporting (e.g. Annual report, CDP, TCFD) & coordinate within Operations, e.g. data gathering & stakeholder engagement.

You will prepare for key governance meetings / steercos with Global COO.

So what does it take to be successful in this role?

You have 3-5 years of relevant experience in internal consulting roles and / or PMO or 2-3 years at a management consulting firm.

You have a master’s degree, ideally in science / engineering, with exceptional academic track record.

You have strong analytical, problem solving, project management and stakeholder engagement skills.

Experience in sustainability & resilience is a nice to have, being passionate about the topic is a must have.

You have affinity with manufacturing environment.

You are willing to travel ~25% of the time.
