About the position
Discover to Launch (D2L) Delivery manager is a strategic business role for Research and Development Function. Product Scope consists of Specification Management, Recipe Development, Labelling, Compliance Management, etc. among other functionalities. The core IT solution used by D2L is a Crown Jewel application, viz., SAP PLM. To oversee the CR delivery (with BAU or CR Partner), manage day to day operations and to define continuous improvement initiatives to elevate service quality and satisfaction, Upfield Delivery Manager role is critical.
So what does it take to be successful in this role?
- Minimum 5+ years of IT Service Delivery experience
- Multiple full-cycle SAP project delivery experience in SAP PLM + core S4 modules like PP & MM. SAP Project Management experience and expertise in various SAP project delivery methodologies is required
- In depth understanding of Product Lifecycle Management processes. Hands on experience in delivering to business requirements around Project and Portfolio management, Recipe Management, Specifications Management, Labelling, Compliance Management, etc.
- Vendor Team Management (Indirect Control): Experience managing multi-vendor team or outsourced delivery model
- Ability to hold Vendor partners accountable to quality, contract and agreed cost/time for delivery
- ITSM/ITIL certification will be preferred. Deep expertise in service delivery models like DevOps, Agile, etc. is expected
