About the position

Logistics plays a critical role in our growth strategy and the successful candidate will play a critical part in delivering our ambition. You will develop and lead our Logistics and Customer Service agenda.

You will be directly responsible for all logistics flows and costs, ensuring we optimize our cost-to-serve models and that goods movement along all aspects of our value chain runs smoothly. You will be instrumental in developing new footprint of the region and supporting the launch of new products. Additionally, you will be entrusted to manage and deliver great customer service, vendor replenishment and any area related to order to cash.

Key Accountabilities

  • Management of the relationship with 3PL & operational execution
  • Manage the customer service and vendor replenishment teams and ensure customer service and vendor replenishment are delivering to required targets
  • Managing the relationship of the logistics providers
  • RCCP warehouse (inbound, outbound, and capacity)- coordination with supply planning and customer service to manage peaks and exceptions
  • Inventory Management including process control (stock count, FIFO, returns management, waste management) (establishing processes and/or controlling their respect)
  • Management of performance of the warehouse (OT, picking accuracy, stock count accuracy, safety, cycle time for truck load, cost)
  • Export management: booking of containers and pick-ups for export based on: Supply planning timeline for ANZ, and SEA supply planning timeline for SEA
  • Import management/ control tower: monitoring freight companies’ execution of the inbound FG flows (on time, customs clearance)

So what does it take to be successful in this role?

 Essential:

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in supply chain logistics and project management at a leading FMCG company
  • Great personal organization skills, attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines in the multicultural environment
  • Understanding and having worked with SAP TM, BW, OTC
  • Ability to articulate complex concepts clearly (both written and in presentations)

Able to work outside of non standard working hours as required
