About the position
Under Upfield Retail business, we have two distribution channels. General Trade and Modern Trade. General Trade contributes over 85% to the retail business. GT has number of territories in the country serviced by appointed distributors based on the demarcated territories. Combined set of territories are supervised by an Area Sales Manager (Upfield). Prime responsibility of the Area Sales manager is to ensure effective implementation of annual business strategy for the respective region.
So what does it take to be successful in this role?
Strong focus and innovative approach towards our product sales in the assigned region, understanding of FMCG market and result orientation are key factors for success in this role.
