Customer Collaborator (Finnish speaker)

You will be driving a profitable & sustainable business by designing and implementing efficient solutions together with Upfields Supply Chain counterparts.


About the position

It’s your focus to establish and maintain relationships with our supply chain partners externally. You help initiatives in E2E Supply Chain on cost efficiency, delivery efficiency and other parameters like forecasts and promotions. In addition to this, you drive Upfields ESG agenda, and you work closely together with your colleagues from Supply Chain, Sales and Marketing. You are the face of Upfield for the customer, with your drive, service-oriented approach and energy, you manage a smooth cooperation for all counterparts.

You will be establishing and managing relationship with the key S.C. players of our top customers in Finland & Denmark and other cluster markets as required. You support the demand planning team FCST ACC and BIAS by brand, but also at customer level you monitor and drive improvements on shelf availability, stock in trade, EPOs and promotional performance. You make recommendations where possible or needed.


You work close together with customer development team, sales team, and other supply chain functions (planning, logistics, customer service & master-data). You are responsible for optimization of customer related supply chain processes e.g. master data, supply routes, order management/profiles – penalties and trade terms.

You own the Cost to Serve model, identifying measures for optimization of order profile (drop size/frequency/claims). And with regular customer reviews, you identify, implement and deliver end-to-end supply chain improvements to drive cost savings and efficiencies.


So what does it take to be successful in this role?

You bring experience in a customer facing role, this can be either from a commercial or supply chain background. You preferrable bring experience in FMCG as this will help you understand our business quickly. To be up and running smooth, work experience with Excel, Office and SAP will help a lot, preferably also with Power BI knowledge.

Most important in the role is that you take ownership for your customers, you bring a service mindset and you go the extra mile to resolve customer issues. You build relationships internal and externally and you are a strong team player for all your counterparts.

Also you are:

  • High analytical skills, numeracy and logical reasoning, attention to detail
  • Growth mentality, understand financial impact of decisions.
  • Results driven and high sense of Accountability, you need to take initiative to identify risks, start projects & go to the customer face to face & independent.


For this role, we are recruiting for a fluent English speaker, speaking Finish as well is highly preferred, Swedish is not a must.
