As our next Health & Safety Manager Europe you lead the implementation of our H&S Strategy across our 7 Factories across Europe  

Location: Preferably Amsterdam (or a nearby Upfield factory location to where you are based) 

Travel required: 75% (Europe)

About the position 

Working with the Global H&S Lead, you facilitate and support H&S managers in European factories to step change the current picture and achieve the overall health & safety goals. You develop policies, guidelines and processes delivering are smooth implementation across our manufacturing sites in Europe and support the R&D Food Center in Wageningen. We have 3 key projects we need you to focus on:  

1) Entrench the safety foundations of Hot spot factories in Europe  
2) Revamp the development & performance of H&S leads in Europe, working with the Factory Directors 
3) Implement factory specific strategies to step change the Safety Culture in the factories 

So what does it take to be successful in this role? 

You know what it takes to lead a change management project regarding hard and soft skills needed. The daily running of a factory (technical and operational) is no mystery to you, and you have an international accreditation (NEOSH, IOSH, etc.) and can tell us about your most challenging change management project and what the results were. As this role is across Europe, you must be ready to travel 75% of your time, sometimes on short notice.
