Maintenance Millwright (Certified) Afternoon & Night Shift 3PM-11PM or 11PM-7AM

Location: 10 Craig St, Brantford, ON N3R 7J1, Canada

Salary: $42/hr. (Plus shift premium of $1.00/hr for afternoons and $1.25/hr for nights)

Shift: Afternoon Shift 3PM-11PM or Night Shift 11PM- 7AM; 24/5 facility 

Must be 433A certified

About the Position

Reporting to our Site Engineer, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, preventative and overall maintenance, repair of process and production equipment.

You will complete all required documentation including fully updating SAP maintenance system, secure machine safety guards and ensure all work is managed following the HACCP and GMP policies/processes of a Food Manufacturing facility, support quality and food safety programs via FSSC 22000 and HACCP, and be responsible for complying with existing company SHEQ Standards and requirements under the Occupational Health and Safety Act and its Regulations and the Workplace Safety and Insurance Act, the Environmental Protection Act, The Transportation of Dangerous Goods Act and Technical Standards and Services Act.

The role requires employees to work straight shifts (afternoons or nights) and overtime as needed.


What does it take to be successful in this role?

It is a requirement you be certified: Industrial Mechanic Millwright Certificate (433A) and have a High School Diploma and 3+ years’ experience as an Industrial Millwright required; 5+ years’ experience and Food Manufacturing plant experience ideal. With a safety first mentality, knowledge of WHMIS and HACCP training, and electromechanical (sensors, drives, HMI, etc.) working knowledge, you'll do very well in this role!
