About the position

Business development Lead (BDL) role purpose is to lead strategy development & management of initiative implementation for the professional business.

The BDL drives growth through leading the development & implementation of the insight driven Channel-Led initiatives in the channels, 

 

So what does it take to be successful in this role?

 

Responsible and accountable of the customer sales funnel that captures business potential and KPI’s (Top line and gross margin), together with all Upro leaders and central business development leads, select and prioritize the strategic accounts. 

Leading the creation & implementation of 3 year strategic plan for the assigned channels, will be accountable for Region customer sales funnel that captures business potential and KPI’s (Top line and gross margin)

You will be building and maintaining relationships with key customers, influencers, decision makers and also approvers in the Upfield organization – including Senior Executive, Marketing, Category, Sales, Operations and R&D

You will provide positive leadership by role modelling Upfield values and providing a favourable working environment that inspires, aligns, recognizes and sustains high performance, and attracts and retains talent

Has to be someone with 8+ years of experience in developing and expanding business to business sales in F&B industry. Strong (international) chain account management and customer relationships. Job is very independent and requires travel (>50%).
