Hybrid: 3 days a week in office
About the role
As a Financial Controller you will be one of members of the market unit finance team performing the financial control activities and driving process improvements for the business.
- Take responsibility for the Balance Sheet and P&L reporting of your market.
- Liaise with (senior) stakeholders like commercial teams, treasury, tax and group finance
- Monitor and coach Shared Services team
- Regular cash flow forecasting for the group
- Own the month end close process.
- Local tax and statutory compliance and reporting.
- Own the relationship with the external auditor.
The Financial Controller will be reporting into the Regional Financial Controller for Southwest Europe.
So what does it take to be successful in this role?
You will receive a lot of responsibility; therefore we do ask that you bring multiple years of relevant experience within a finance position and a bachelor or a master’s degree in finance or accountancy.
A professional qualifications (e.g. ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA) or working towards one is for role quite a plus
In order to directly contribute to the structuring and optimisation of the processes, work experience with SAP (S4) is a big pre and the French and Dutch language skills are also an asset for this role.
You work delivery-focussed with a high degree of ownership and a positive, growth mindset. You easily built relationships on cross-functional level and with both internal and external stakeholders.
