Industrial Sales Manager

As our Industrial Sales Manager you will establish our first customers base & support the growing volume of our business.

About the position
In this stand-alone role you will work with multi-functional teams and find your way of getting things done with customers and also within the company. You will be responsible for identifying, executing, and managing commercial, technical, and business development opportunities.
So what are the key objectives / projects you will deliver in the first year?
- Building the B2B strategy, evaluate opportunities and actively working to find new business opportunities in the market
- Active recruitment of new customers with focus on the Europe and some Middle Eastern regions.
- Providing market and competitor data.
- Expansion of the Upfield plant-based foods mission into business-to-business opportunities with creams, plant butters and other industrial opportunities.
So what does it take to be successful in this role?
Maybe you have worked in a similar role for the past 7 years building an established network in the food ingredients industry. You have a good business understanding and are able to leverage with technical people. Ideally you have already had experience in the food ingredient industry: preferably in oils and fats, or in the dairy industry. You understand trends and needs of the bakery, confectionery & foods industry. You have an entrepreneurial mindset and are ready to develop & cultivate a new client base from the start. Ideally you have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business, Economics, Food Science, Agri-Culture or any other related field.
