Production Planner - Upfield

Production Planner

You will join our Mid-Term Planning Team in Katowice HUB and you’ll work in the heart of Supply Chain, based on Sales forecast provided by Demand Planners you will create short and midterm production and capacity plans. Working closely with Production Schedulers and Material Planners you will ensure right level of finished goods and create a plan for distribution to our customers on dedicated EU markets.

About the position! 

You will have a full ownership of short and midterm supply chain plans for a dedicated portfolio of products, leading service, inventory, waste, distribution, and production management.

This means you will create a cross-functional network and onboard manufacturing plants, demand planning, and project teams to ensure information flow and operational excellence.

You will be performing root-cause analysis for a continuous improvement plan for your own function contributing to service and inventory improvement and minimizing waste.

On the operational side, you will maintain system master data settings ensuring full system potential.

You will become a part of multifunctional teams working on exciting projects like automatizations, New Product Development, innovations and many more.

 

So what does it take to be successful in this role?

You have several years of experience in supply planning in Integrated Business Planning / S&OP environment from FMCG or any other where shelf life is a constraint.

You have a proven track record with SAP planning tools – ideally with IBP – but extensive APO knowledge will be a great base to master IBP fast. 

You will be working in an extended cross-functional network as well as with higher management, therefore you feel comfortable leading discussions driving conclusions, and giving recommendations.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills give you ease in setting priorities and make you an excellent executor constantly monitoring and following up on goals.

Advanced Excel is a must.
