Market and Sales Development Manager

Location: Stockholm, Sweden or Remote from Sweden 

 About the position 

We are recruiting for a Market and Sales Development Manager, based in Sweden – Stockholm or remote-  for our Denmark retail business You will be the lead of our retail business on the Danish market, managing the relationship with this outsourced partner, overseeing commercial negotiations and securing the Upfield brand strategy in Denmark. 

More in detail, with our partner, you will manage the local mandate for commercial negotiations, define targets and ensure their successful delivery. You’ll stay up to date with Upfield brand strategy and any new launches in the market. In addition you’ll review and challenge promotion forecasts, monitor sales performance and steer where needed. You will keep up to date with what is happening in the category and the market in Denmark, drawing conclusions towards actionable insights.  

This role requires high stakeholder management skills both with the Danish partners as well as with your Upfield colleagues.  

So what does it take to be successful in this role? 

You have a strong sales focus, you manage people remotely easily and you are well organizedRetail experience is a must, knowledge of the Danish retail a major asset. You bring a few years of experience in sales and strong stakeholder management skills. As a person you are hands on and can make things happen. 

English is a must, as is either Swedish or Danish.
