About the role 

As the Trade Marketing/Marketing Foodservice Manager, you are leading Marketing & Trade Marketing Upfield BELUX professional team (Violife professional) and you report to the Marketing Manager South West Europe. 

One of your main responsibilities is the Brand Management Portfolio & innovation. This means that you are in charge of product innovation as in launch innovations in the BELUX market for Violife professional. You will work on getting global team approval and project management until the local launch.  

The Trade & Channel marketing part of this role is about defining and implementing customers’ (key accounts) activation plans while focusing on Top 3 wholesale. You also work on wholesale activation plan and market follow up (secondary sales data analyses, trends & research ex FS Alliance and Group7, Key competitors follow up on prices, activation, and online & offline advertising). 

As for the digital focus, you define and implement digital strategy with global and the local agency. You also coordinate calendar for social media content and maintain the website up to date and content creation.  

Another responsibility of this role is to be the PR Project Manager for events, trade fairs and exhibitions.  

Last but not least, you support the Sales team on Key accounts with presentations & activation and you are the budget owner for an assigned operational A&P budget control for Violife Professional BE. 

So what does it take to be successful in this role? 

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Business Administration or equivalent. A 5 to 8 years relevant and hands on experience in developing and implementing marketing strategies.  

Experience in FMCG or in a fast paced environment will be an added advantage.  
As a person, you easily adapt to changes in a high paced and ever-evolving organization.  

Ability to handle ad hoc requests on a daily basis.
