Logistics Coordinator
Location: 433 Hackensack Ave, Hackensack, NJ
About the position
Manage a relationship with carriers, production plants, distribution centers, and customers to ensure shipments are picked up and delivered on time while balancing cost and providing back savings.
Main Responsibilities
- Plan, tender, and track inbound and/or outbound shipments across the network.
- Hold carriers accountable to various transportation related metrics which include but are not limited to on-time service and tender acceptance.
- Monitor network capacity with suppliers to ensure no impact to customer service.
- Reduce accessorial charges by implementing projects that result in cost savings.
- Support daily transportation requests from internal and external parties.
