About the role

The surge in number of Ransomware attacks targeting factory production environments, especially in the CPG Sector has led to significant disruption in the Global Food Supply Chain. Upfield is the world’s largest plant-based foods company, and its Factories play a vital role to meet the global demand for environment-friendly, healthy, and affordable plant-based foods. 

The Factory Cybersecurity Manager is a new position within Upfield and will be responsible for the definition and implementation of the Cyber Security strategy and roadmap across our global factories. As a key member of the global cyber team, the successful individual will work closely with the Supply Chain Engineering teams to secure our factory environment against emerging threats and maintain a suitable cyber posture.

You will;

  • Define, agree, and maintain the ongoing factory cybersecurity programme including business case development for spend as required
  • Establish and operate a governance framework with Factory Director's and key supply chain stakeholders
  • Define, implement, and operate the factory cybersecurity operating model including associated procedures
  • Understand and monitor the threat landscape and ensure that the factory cyber programme, operating model and control requirements are commensurate for Upfield
  • Be the key cyber lead for a multi-function / multi-supplier team across all factories and contact person for external OT security partners.
  • Deploy and operate security tools & processes for OT asset mgmt., vulnerability mgmt., malware mgmt. & incident response
  • Drive continuous deployment of proactive threat management measures & promote cyber culture
  • Facilitate periodic simulations & tabletop exercises to assess cyber-attack response readiness
  • Ongoing measurement, reporting and maturity improvement initiatives.

 

So what does it take to be successful in this role?

You will bring significant knowledge & expertise of manufacturing systems & processes and importantly, will have excellent change management and influencing skills. Furthermore, you bring a minimum of 5 years of experience in an OT Security / OT Operations role, with governance and management responsibilities. Any additional experience is highly beneficial. Experience with current OT cyber security threats, mitigation strategies, regulations, and frameworks (e.g., BS EN IEC 62443, ENISA IoT Good Practices, NIST 800-82, Purdue Architecture). You bring the ability to operate successfully in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, any experience within a Matrix structured environment will help you be up and running quickly. You bring excellent communication and senior stakeholder management skills, you’re a strong project & Change manager and have experience managing budgets as well.

We are recruiting for a colleague based in Amsterdam. Living in Europe with work eligibility in The Netherlands will be considered as well.
