About the Role

As the Media and Digital manager you deliver digital-first media campaigns and always on activities for our brands in the UK & Ireland, (also sometimes including traditional media where needed to meet communications objectives e.g. linear TV, Outdoor). Meaning on the one hand having Day-to-day optimization of campaigns, working with creatives and brand managers to ensure all assets are briefed and delivered in time for campaigns to go live. Work with brand teams to integrate organic and paid social media activations and on the other side Playing the role of Thought Leader, keep up to date with digital and social media developments, changes, and new opportunities that affect our business, making recommendations on where we should test and learn to build knowledge and capability, actively look for new opportunities, options, and platforms that can improve performance of the brands
Within Upfield Analysis and Reporting performance is key and making recommendations to improve performance metrics and then executing against these recommendations  
All in all it is about raising brand awareness, consideration and conversion to purchase across brands, driving brand image and ensuring best in class activation across our portfolio of brands.

Reporting to the UK & Ireland Head of Marketing and working closely with the European Head of Media and Digital and individual brand leads and the European Head of Media and Digital, with a cross-functional team across PR, shopper marketing, and sales to deliver integrated communication plans.

What does it take to be successful in the role?

Besides having completed a degree in marketing or business administration and now up to e next step in Digital Markeling you obviously you have a passion for all things digital, with the ability to translate this passion in to insights, activations, and optimisations for campaigns. You are a creative critical eye and a creative prolemsolver together with a strong analytical skillset, able to interpret performance data across the full marketing funnel and use these insights to improve performance, build reports, and present in a non-technical manner.
Direct experience buying media and operating in a social media buying platform and hands-on experience planning, creating, and optimising media, digital and social advertising campaigns across various platforms.
