About the position! 

We are looking for candidates with talent and passion for data and people management skills to join our Global Data Management Team. We are after individuals who are able to use what they already know and help us build even stronger foundations of our data governance practices, methods and tools. 

We are on the journey to use data we have to make Upfield operating environment as seamless as possible and through that help our business peers to perform processes at speed, in agile ways and at most competitive cost we can attain. We are caring for the quality of data in our systems and want to make sure everyone in Upfield thinks the same way and shares this embracing feeling of ownership. 

We are exploring ways of processing data from acquisition to decommission that provides transparency, builds confidence and ensure trust in data assets we hold in our systems. On daily basis you will be the First Point of Contact for any business requirements concerning data definitions, new data process requirements or projects requiring Master Data inputs.

You will also actively working on improving processes and tools used for Data Management and acting as Upfield representative in managing supplier relationship with selected solution partners, ensuring all aspects of the support model and services are managed in line with business requirements. 

Moreover, you will be sharing guidance and training materials with internal stakeholders to improve efficiency and effectiveness of master data processes and also organising and facilitating training sessions for business users to ensure process knowledge and adherence to internal standards.

 

So what does it take to be successful in this role?

You have several years of experience working in operations environment with focus on master data. Data related project experience, as part of the data migration team, involved in data set definition, data collection, data verification and mass load activities are required.

You have very good knowledge of Process and Data Design base knowledge (Quality by Design, SIPOC, TQMS, ESQM concepts).

Excellent communication skills – effective oral and written communication, ability to put forward complex data problems in easy to digest ways for customers are essential.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and advanced skills in SAP S/4 HANA / SAP PLM is a plus or knowledge of other ERP / GDM tool. 

Advanced English both spoken and written is a must.
