Southwest Regional Sales Manager - QSR/FSR Chains

About the Position

In this role, you will report to the National Sales Director of Chain Accounts and penetrate the multi-unit region chains, region & emerging chains and independent restaurant (Limited Service & Full Service) segment. In parralel, you will manage brokers in your assigned territory to maximize their performance, develop relationships with local Food Service distribution. In more detail, you will be involved in aligning with Sales Leadership on priorities, scope and focus of targeted accounts. This would include areas within Top 200 chains, region chains and emerging chains FSR & LSR, Top regional and independent pizza locations through geo-targeted prioritization, strategically gaining new business prospects through cold calling activity in addition to maintaining existing customer relationships. Coordinate training and product selling approach for Menu-Development teams at chain operators, Violife Foodservice and retail sales team(s) and broker(s), emphasizing our products and their unique features, advantages and benefits, managing activities of brokers in territory. Mange brokers to increase revenue at independent restaurants, chains and Food Service Distributors, participating in both National and Region trade shows, driving route to market initiatives (Broker sales, tele-sales, wholesaler, distributor and other), driving and developing trade related initiatives i.e. POS, trade shows, trade advertising etc., developing customer sales funnel and Sales Force CRM process and best practices to establish and measure business performance & KPI’s, and participating in negotiations, programs and promotions to achieve our volume and margin mission.

So what does it take to be successful in this role?

You will be a success in this role if you have built and managed effective relationships with mult-unit restaurants chains (QSR, FSR, LSR), distributors, and brokers. It will be crucial that you can travel 50% of the time domestically in the US. It will be a plus if you live in Texas.
