Hybrid working as you will have your customers on Denmark and the Office in Stockholm

About the position

At this moment, we are the world's biggest food production company for Plant-Based products. We are known for our brands like Rama, , Becel, Flora and Violife.. We have both a retail business as well as a growing Foodservice team. Our vision for a "Better Plant-Based Future" drives positive change in people's health, their daily lives, and our planet's sustainability. Important within Upfield is the focus on strong performing cross-category teams, to drive the most profitable growth, and development as teams and as individuals. 

The Foodservice channel is a key profitable growth division for Upfield.

The budgeted target growth ambitions will be achieved through the efficient implementation of a combination of wholesale planning and promotional activities as well as channel driven solution initiatives. These initiatives are designed to build superior relationships through helping our customers and operators improve their business performance and profitability.  


Our customers range from the traditional wholesale route to market, through smaller chain operators, and some of the leading foods brands on the high street. We also have a growing business that supplies select ingredients to the manufacturing base.

So what does it take to be successful in this role?,

You have 5+ years’ experience in Food  business, especially developing relationship with the customers. Wide industry connection is a plus. You will need to have a deep understanding of the traditional food service customer landscape (activation like fairs) as well as rising channels: have an entrepreneurial mindset around it. Traditional wholesale planning and negotiation is a key point for this role as well. At Upfield the adaptability and agility is as it is defined: able to cope with change, think on their feet and even more so know how to prioritize there where there are never enough hours in a day. Externally you will work quite standalone for the Danish market so that should suit your personality, internally we have a tight nit team working for the Nordics. Swedish and Danish full on language skills would be awesome.
