R&D Innovation & Communication Specialist

As R&D Innovation & Communication specialist, you will be part of the team coordinating the global innovation agenda of the company and ensuring its full delivery.
Location: Wageningen, Netherlands
About the position
In this role you will be a member of the R&D innovation management team. You will play a “spider in the web” role in ensuring the smooth operations of our innovation funnel. You will ensure the community of practice of our innovation quality procedures across the brands and the globe, by all functions (R&D, marketing, supply chain, procurement). You will also have a specific communication role within the R&D community itself.
So what are the key objectives / projects you will deliver in the first year?
- Gathering content and agendas of weekly exchange forums and monthly decision meetings.
- Together with data analyst colleagues, preparing innovation funnel tracking reports and innovation pipeline overviews.
- Coordinating R&D communication forums across the globe
- Coordinating R&D trainings and innovation management trainings for all functions, digitally and in person.
- Assisting R&D Colleagues & Chief of R&D with internal & external events.
So what does it take to be successful in this role?
Maybe you have worked in a similar role for the past 2 to 5 years working in Innovation management and project management support within professional services. You must have a structured mindset, with logical reasoning. You also need to have a passion for communicating and interacting with people from various functions and locations. You need to be driven and flexible, able to adapt to short-term requests. We are looking for a strong team player, with proven communication skills. You should have strong planning and organizing skills, and a proactive can-do attitude.
