About the position!
Currently we are looking for a Demand Planner, who will be mainly responsible for the 12 months rolling volume forecast for the respected markets within our region.
On daily basis you will be focusing on collaborative "bottom-up" planning with Customer Development, Brand, and Customer Supply Chain. The high objective for this role is to continuously improve forecast accuracy to deliver high customer service levels and simultaneously support the reduction of finished goods inventory. In addition, you will lead implementation of any new S&OP tools/processes in association with Demand Planning Excellence.
Our Region is the one of the most complex regions within the Company with its high number of markets, brands, cultures, so we believe that will be a great chance to develop you skills and knowledge. That is why on daily basis you will be analyzing and generating weekly, monthly and long-term forecasts, marketing and sales initiatives and market trends. You will be leading and participating in relevant meetings of the S&OP cycle with Marketing and Sales.
As an Expert in your markets you will be leading the weekly Demand and Supply meetings to manage changes in demand, optimize use of company resource. If needed you will keep strong control regarding frozen ordering period and ensuring that forecast accuracy and bias is within target. In addition, you will optimize and you will manage finished goods stock level by targeting close to zero obsolete stock.
You will also ensure integrity of the SAP master data file through timely data maintenance of finished goods item codes (active, inactive, NPIs).
So, what does it take to be successful in this role?
You have several years of experience in demand planning or operational planning in multicultural and matrix organization.
Experience in FMCG sector will be a great asset as well as an experience in coordination with cross functional departments.
You pay great attention to details, you have strong analytical mindset and ability to maintain full overview. You are self-driven and fast adapting in everchanging dynamic environment person.
Excellent Excel is a must. SAP will be an advantage.
Fluent English is a must.
