Looking for an all-round Finance opportunity to make a difference and grow your skills? We are recruiting for a Financial Controller, leading all indirect tax transactions, various continuous improvement projects and leading the intercompany recharge process.

About the position 

You will be the financial lead for Indirect tax transactions (VAT, Intrastat, Green Dot and packaging tax) in our Global principal (registrations in 20 countries), working with our external business partners and our Global tax team. You will lead and own the Intercompany recharge process for Europe and Global charges, including transfer price corrections, financial - and management reporting wise. 

You;  

• Manage the payment process for all relevant payments on Indirect Tax and other urgencies  
• Work together with our Global tax team on enhancements to the existing tools and reporting by focusing on improvement projects such as e-reporting and e-invoicing, further automation of tax accounting, etc.
• Liaise with all company’s global financial streams for shared services 
• Are fully involved in the finance month-close process of our Global Principal team, to ensure data integrity and strong decision-making process 
• Act as a business partner to Head of Finance Corp Entities Europe, by analysing, interpreting, and advising on financial data and results. 

So, what does it take to be successful in this role?   

You have a master’s degree in finance/Accounting or equivalent and you bring 2-4 years of experience in a relevant in-house or consulting role. You bring experience working in an international environment, business partnering with different internal and external stakeholders. ERP/SAP knowledge is required.  

Experience with Indirect Tax and Transfer pricing business models is desirable. Also, it will help you if you bring experience of working in cross functional teams within a matrix environment. You bring high attention to detail and excellent analytical skills and to be successful in Upfield, you bring a Flexible and open minded, you quickly adapt to changing requirements and you have the ability to respond under pressure.
