Maintenance Mechanic

Above all, the Maintenance Mechanic is to work safely by observing all safety rules, including proper utilization of lock out tag out.  A Maintenance Mechanic maintains and fixes machinery that processes margarine and spreads in the plant. This includes trouble shooting and repairing processing and packaging equipment utilizing World Class Manufacturing methods of continuous improvement. The Maintenance Mechanic is also responsible for performing preventative maintenance and completing work orders.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED

Minimum of 2 years of previous experience with manufacturing, high powered industrial or mechanical equipment.

 

Preferred:

Training in a related technical field (i.e. industrial manufacturing, general maintenance, etc.)

Mechanical ability and experience using hand tools

Experience with Microsoft Office Programs including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
