Do you share our deep believe that plant-based nutrition is the future? Do you want to take part and lead the plant-based dairy / cheese revolution in the DACH region? As Head of Cheese DACH it is your duty and mission to get the product in front of the customer in Retail and Foodservices.
We are now looking for a Head of Cheese to strengthen the DACH team. You will be the driving power in unlocking the Plant-based revolution with the DACH customers and consumers. Together with the DACH Sales team and in close collaboration with the General Manager you will leverage the full capability of the local and global Upfield organization to accelerate sustainable relationships with our Retail and Foodservice customers.
In Retail you will take our Violife products to the market to ensure consumers can enjoy a healthy plant-based diet at home, in Foodservices you offer a healthy plant-based solution to the industry.

- Establish and secure great relationships with our customers in the DACH region
- Drive the business forward, and push the brand into growth
- Secure profitable sales with triple win (consumer, customer and Upfield).
- Secure a good structure and implement new strategies working with a new plant-based category
- P&L responsible, ensure and drive the P&L for the category
- Implement and secure a good relationship with both internal and external stakeholders
- Continuously follow-ups with the stakeholders and the customers in relation to the business

To be successful in this role you must have a strong Sales background with least 7 years’ experience in a similar role i.e. Sales Manager, Commercial Manager within the FMCG industry. Also you need to have a fundamental knowledge of Marketing. If you have experience within the chilled food segments or cheese, fantastic! You must understand what our products mean for the health of our consumers but also the planet, you got to believe in this and be excited about it. Naturally, you have an Entrepreneurial mindset, you have your goals in mind and know the steps needed to achieve those. You know in order to build this business you have to be hands-on and get involved. As this is a position in the DACH region you must be a fluent german speaker, but your business and technical English is excellent. Interviews will be held in English.
