Capacity and Inventory Planner
Location: Poland - Katowice
Key responsibilities:
- Evaluate capacity requirements based on market forecast and ensure consolidation into a mid- to long-term capacity, including 3rd Party.
- Identify possible future capacity constraints and bottlenecks, highlight and review these Supply-Demand imbalances to allow for sufficient business collaboration on how best to address.
- Proactively evaluate different scenarios and "what if" analyses to support better business decision-making in complex global dynamics (stakeholders, production and logistics).
- Evaluate regional finished goods inventory levels against inventory policies and targets to ensure logistics cost efficiencies.
- Act as coordinator between market supply chain, factory leadership and planning to manage capacity exceptions and ensure business continuity.
- Run regional RCCP performance reviews with operational planners and factories to identify areas with performance gaps and ensure structured improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to regional network improvement and factory initiatives with in-depth knowledge and analysis of factory capabilities and capacities.
- Support projects and process improvement to enhance performance and efficiency of the required planning activities (SLOBs, Inventories and Service across scope site / supply points).
- Ensure the right network settings (e.g. production/distribution throughout times) and replenishment models are correctly applied in the planning system.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain in FMCG company.
- Highly analytical person who can draw conclusions from a large amount of data.
- Ability to work under time pressure.
- Excellent English skills.
- Proficient Excel skills.
- Knowledge of any planning system (APO, IBP, JDA).
- Very good communication skills.
- Ability to carry out presentations in front of a group.
- SAP – nice to have.
- Reporting experience: (PowerBI, Tableau, PowerQuery, SQL) – nice to have.
