Main Responsibilities


As Supply Chain Finance Global Process Expert you will be responsible for tailoring out the most suitable SCFS process for Upfield through:

Core operations –

  • Lead the Standard Product Costing for Upfield portfolio and Month end close process
  • E2E ownership on the Transfer price, Standard costing, and Mark up’s
  • Manage remote team based in India (3PSP): set priorities and monitor their performance based on KPIs
  • Building up the SCFS process documentation including roles & responsibilities,
  • Enforce checks and controls to ensure accurate and timely SCFS activities
  • Lead and manage the process improvement and partner with IT and other key stakeholders, while setting up new SCFS tools and making sure that all the processes are properly reflected in the ERP systems;
  • Manage communication of financial results towards senior stakeholders.
  • Manage key stakeholders on SCFS product costing, Transfer pricing and projects updates. Also drive key improvement for SCFS
  • Performance evaluation of team, set goals and monitor performance of the team


Financial & Business Partnering –

  • Collaborate with SCF and FPA teams to
  • formulate & drive Business Plans / Strategies for the SCFS process and Division to operationalize 3 Year & 5 year plan
  • formulate Annual Operating Plan and Forecasting (Monthly / Quarterly) and reframing Year to Go to deliver goals for the year
  • Co-own & Partner the Business P&L and KPI’s along with Business Teams
  • Drive Operational Excellence thru deep dive analytics on Business Drivers and leading the change /execution with Operating Teams
  • Hold fort on Key process KPI’s viz COGP & COGS Margins and Working Capital
  • Crisp Presentations and creative visualizations explaining financial & business results - Deliver key messages to Category / Business leaders / Executive Committee and maneuver to a decision
  • Business Case preparation and Performance review of new Investment. Insights thru Return on Investment / Payback & decision Drivers
  • Analyze key business drivers regarding industry and competition and provide regular business risk assessment reports to Leadership Team


Reporting and Analytics

  • Establish business intelligence reports & dashboards to streamline the financial and operations MIS across various categories / locations / initiatives
  • Identify Levers for Revenue, Mix and Margin improvement opportunities Commercial
  • Analyze the regional performance and provide meaningful insight on price investment and competitiveness of assortment
  • Identify and Lead Working Capital Improvement opportunities / plans / actions for the Vertical management
    Processes / Automation
  • Develop and implement processes commensurate with size, scale, complexity and business needs
  • Champion simplification, standardization and automation opportunities and lead these project

  • Driving cost optimization projects across teams to improve bottom line,
  • Working on projects related to Working capital optimization and Inventory control
  • Ability to model new and ambiguous businesses,
