Credit Controller (fluency in Dutch & French)

About the position
The role requires in dept understanding of the client’s aging, client overdue; payment of the off-invoice allowance, monitor cash application and ensure client dunning is done in time. You will drive the O2C process for both the Netherlands and Belgium yourself, partnering with your manager (located in Spain) and the local Finance team.
So what are the key objectives / projects you will deliver in the first year?
- Ensure timely booking and allocation of payments received from clients.
- Download revenue, process interface and reconciliation with invoicing system(s) as needed.
- Manage correct treatment of Cash on Delivery (COD) accounts. Reduction of Overdue amounts. Managing collections and billbacks in Customer accounts.
- You ensuring that internal controls are effective and in place and that KPIs are met.
- You preparing reports (e.g., KPI reports), spearheading B2C Analysts and any other adhoc activities.
So what does it take to be successful in this role?
Maybe you have worked in a similar role for the past 3 years in Finance and you have some knowledge or experience consolidating customer accounts. You are very analytical and have a very structured way of working, you like your lists and checks, and you work precisely. Ideally AR is your passion. You love to work with customers as well as internal stakeholder while applying your finance skills and general knowledge of accounting principles. You like to be hands on and pick up the work. You are very comfortable in system management (SAP) and Excel holds no secrets for you. You are ready to enjoy working in a fast-paced environment & we will give you the full ownership you need to make a real impact.
You speak fluent Dutch, French and English to support the Netherlands and Belgium.
