R&D Intern Plant Creams

About the position
We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Processing student as our R&D intern to support the Plant Creams team. You will study the current creams processing and map out the current production at our sourcing unit in Kleve, Germany. You also study the P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagram), visit, and map out the actual processing line at our sourcing unit in Kleve, Germany. You will identify points the temperature cycling of the product can occur, points of increased inline shear, difference in shear between the different fillers, and typical standing times in the Aseptic tanks. You will also report back on potential issues in production upon switching to emulsifier free plant-based creams.
So what does it take to be successful in this role?
You are currently enrolled as a HBO/WO/Bachelors/Masters student in Sustainable Food Process Engineering or Food Technology. You are proactive and have good communication skills.
